The problem was on the Southern California Edison system where a circuit breaker for a transmission line that "feeds" Azusa's main substation tripped thereby cutting service to over one-half of the Azusa Substation at 9th and N. Angeleno. Azusa Light & Water crews responded immediately to diagnose the cause of power problem and contacted Edison so they could make repairs to their failed circuit breaker. Likely cause of the problem was flying debris due to high winds.
