3. Where can I dispose items that can harm the environment?

To dispose of used oil or household hazardous waste, call Talika Johnson at (626) 812-5174 or email her.

4. Where can I dispose an old stove, mattress, couch, etc.?

Call Athens Disposal (under contract with City) at (626) 336-6100.

5. What recycling programs does the City have to offer?

Green Waste only with weekly household pick-up, and used oil.  For more information, view the City's website.

6. Where do I report abandoned shopping carts?

Call 1 (888) 787-2278 or contact West Coast Cart Services. Contact Brent Hale at (626) 812-5200 ext. 5318 if this does not result in a cart pickup.

7. I would like to report overgrown weeds. Whom should I contact?

8. When is my street scheduled to be swept?

Sweeping is scheduled the day after trash pick-up. For
questions, contact the Streets Division at (626)812-5244.

9. How do I get my parkway tree trimmed?

The Public Works Department currently uses a telephone tree request method of trimming parkway trees. They are trimmed on a first-come, first-served basis. Emergencies are handled with top priority. To have your tree trimmed / inspected call (626) 812-5260.
